Ruth Heying

Ruth Heying is working as a Pediatric Cardiologist at the University Hospital Leuven, Belgium.
She is engaged in clinical patient care including pre- and postoperative care, echocardiography and catheterizations. Next to the clinical work her research interest is on infective endocarditis and the pathogenesis of S. aureus infections.
She is an active member of the working group Basic Science and Genetics of the European Association of Pediatric Cardiology and the chair of the Educational Committee of the association.
