Maurice Beghetti

Maurice Beghetti, MD, heads the Pediatric Cardiology Unit at the University Hospital of Geneva and is the Director of the pulmonary hypertension (PH) program of the University Hospital of Geneva. He is the Director of the Centre Universitaire Romand de Cardiologie et Chirurgie Cardiaque Pédiatrique group in Geneva and Lausanne. Professor Beghetti has spent most of his professional career in Geneva, with a three-year fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. He is a member of the executive board of the Association for Pediatric PH, which has generated the TOPP Registry (for Tracking Outcomes and Practice in Pediatric PH). He is a member of the editorial board of Cardiology in the Young and has authored numerous publications, book chapters and books on PH. Professor Beghetti’s research interests are focused on PH and congenital heart defects in pediatric patients.
