Adam Kolesnik

Dr. Adam Kolesnik graduated from the Medical Univesity of Warsaw in 2002. He is working at the Department of Descriptive and Clinical Anatomy at the Medical University of Warsaw focusing on the cardiovascular morphology and congenital malformations of the cardiovascular system. In 2010 he joined the Cardiovascular Interventions Laboratory at the Children's Memorial Health Institute in Warsaw, Poland. Besides the clinical work he runs 3D modelling / 3D printing laboratory at this institution. Due to his interest in developmental anatomy of the heart he is working as fetal cardiologist at the Department of Perinatal Cardiology and Congenital Anomalies, Center for Postgraduate Medical Education in Warsaw, Poland. Since 2011 member of the Polish fetal cardiovascular interventions team. Recently involved in development of the virtual reality platform for visualisation of congenital cardiac defects and virtual reality based pre-procedural planning in cardiology and cardiac surgery.
